I assembled my PC and now I notice extremely poor Cinebench ratings. My GPU is around 15k, CPU has 900+ cores, and single-core performance is about 90+. My configuration includes a Ryzen 7 7800X3D with MSI GeForce RTX 4070 VENTUS 2X, an OC model with 32GB DDR5 SSD at 6000MHz.

Have you activated PBO first? Next, could you share your temperatures and cooler readings? Also, note that EXPO has been enabled.

CPU temperature ranged between 70-82°C while GPU stayed around 50-59°C. Stay calm! Purerock 2

It seems the system was operating at 4.2 volts, around 70 or 80 volts, but it could run higher. Everything appears normal, and there’s no visible damage to the CPU or similar components.

You should keep PBO active and use Expo off. Running at around 3200MHz without Expo will help your RAM stay stable. The 7800X3D can handle sustained speeds up to 5GHz, often reaching about 5.05GHz per core. Adjust PBO and consider negative curve optimization—start with a value of 20, then test 25 if needed. This setup should keep things running smoothly at around 70W, which matches the chip’s intended performance. Let me know if you need more details or want to try it. TLDR: PBO on, Expo off, negative curve from 20, stable at ~70W.

Your RAM is currently at 4600 and it should reach 6000 with an EPSO boost.

Let's skip EXPO and PBO right now!
