Looking for a CPU that pairs well with the RTX 3050. You're aiming for something stronger than your current R5 4500, preferring AM4 form factor but open to Intel options.

In which titles is the performance issue occurring? It looks like your GPU might be struggling already.

The setup already has the 3050 as an issue. The size mentioned doesn't clarify the problem further.

The problem seems to be that a 4500 can easily handle a 3050. Double-check if it's the opposite direction and your GPU is at full capacity. Use MSI Afterburner to monitor performance during gameplay.

Consider upgrading your GPU before making other changes.

It's perfect at 100%, so you don't need a CPU upgrade. For your current setup, which is in the RTX range, what GPU would complement it best depends on your CPU's capabilities.

Need additional details. Also, what would be a typical use case? Basically, you want full system specifications—including case, CPU cooler, and the PSU brand and model. Also share your budget. Any reason you're needing an RTX?

New PSU is required since the smart series is a known power-hungry component. The possibilities are endless, especially with a 5600x option available. A brand new 7900 series is the top balance of performance and price, while a 750W Corsair RM(E) or better would be ideal for high-end builds. Upgrading to a 5600x or even 5700x3d might be feasible but isn't essential.
