I'm in USD and intend to reach PCIe Gen 4 eventually, but that won't happen for another year or so.

The boards I mentioned work well for the 5800x. On the B550, the lanes connected to the CPU are Gen 4, meaning you can run a Gen 4 drive and a 4 Gen 4 GPU at PCIe Gen 4 on B550. With the X570, both CPU and chipset lanes are Gen 4, giving full Gen 4 performance across the board—unless you specifically need the extra lanes on X570, you won’t be missing anything by choosing B550.

Thanks! That really assists me a lot. However, if I come across a 570 tomahawk, I’d consider taking it. Otherwise, I’ll opt for the B550 instead.

When looking for this board, options are limited but it's still a decent choice. If you manage to locate one, it's worth considering. Otherwise, similar boards are available as suggested earlier.
