I recently purchased a new PC with a built-in display on the motherboard. During the initial boot process, I encountered memory-related issues that I resolved, and since then everything has functioned perfectly. Earlier, I observed my motherboard repeatedly displaying error codes, but these didn’t seem to impact my system at all—at least not visibly. I’m curious whether it’s typical for a motherboard to show some error messages on the screen or if this behavior is unusual.

Varies by board model. Certain systems disable the POST code when an OS is detected (like my X570 Taichi and Z170 OC Formula), others may remain active on a POST code while occasionally updating it during sleep cycles (every Gigabyte board I've tested does this), and some switch to displaying temperature once Windows is running. ASUS models generally follow a similar pattern to Gigabyte boards by default, with the ability to toggle a temperature display after Windows loads. Personally, I haven't used that exact setup, but it's possible other ASUS boards behave differently. Running a benchmark could help confirm if temperatures rise into the upper 90s or 00 range, indicating accurate CPU monitoring.

I know I missed that earlier, actually there is a BIOS option to adjust its behavior.
