You definitely don’t need a Faraday cage for this work. Just proceed carefully and stick to lab equipment, and everything should be okay.

Use your phone to set up a WiFi hotspot and launch a DDOS attack, redirecting traffic through it instead of your primary connection. This will disrupt the hotspot while keeping your own device connected.
