Hello, I have a 32 GB SSD with 1600 MHz but it seems to be only running at 1333 MHz. What can I do to adjust this? My motherboard is a Gigabyte 78LMT-USB3 R2 and the CPU is an FX 8300 which supports 1600 MHz?
Did you enable XMP or DOCP settings? The names vary based on the motherboard model.
I didn’t do anything special, I bought the PC a few months back and only realized this issue now.
Adjust the memory clock manually. Enter 1600Mhz by highlighting the Auto field and using the + and - keys on the keypad. Navigate to "DRAM Configuration" and align the timings with the XMP values for your memory modules. Raise the memory voltage according to the specifications for the XMP profile. After completing the setup, press F10 to save the configuration and restart the system. We require the memory part number for further assistance. Using Cpu-z and capturing a screenshot of the "SPD" tab may be helpful.
