OPNsense box: * LAN * WAN * 1 unassigned NIC (planned as a dedicated VLAN NIC) switch: Zyxel GS1900-8 (flashed with OpenWrt 22.03 stable) currently running on default configuration (after many failed attempts to configure my desired setup). My goal: * the VLAN NIC from OPNsense will link to the switch (port 1) * on switch, ports 2-8 each get unique VLANs assigned * if a friend connects their gaming laptop to a switch port, they won’t need extra steps to reach the internet * the switch won’t manage DHCP/firewall (handled by OPNsense). Tried various configurations and even bricked the switch but couldn’t succeed. Assuming VLANs are set up on OPNsense, I require assistance with configuring the switch.
