Hello everyone, since getting my GTX 1050 Ti and being able to play PUGBG, I've faced some loading issues. The game stays on the original screen and I end up either dead or near the map edge, making it hard to win. My setup includes a 1050 Ti with 4 GB RAM, 4 GB of RAM, an i5 2400 processor, a 500 GB SSD, and an Otiplex 390 case (though I know it's not great). No similar problems appear in games like Fortnite. I'm feeling frustrated and would appreciate any advice or fixes from anyone who has experienced this.

Have you looked into any resource managers during gameplay? For instance, the Task Manager can help identify if something is being overused. It reminds me of my brother’s old PC when we played large maps in Rust—often due to insufficient RAM. I’d say PUGB is an 8K map? That could be similar.

Using a quicker hard drive or SSD can reduce loading times when starting a game. For the best results, make sure the game is installed on this faster storage. It’s always safer to be prepared.

I’m not sure about anything because I won’t be at my place for a few days. I’ll let you know when I’m back, okay? @Himommies

If it's the built-in hard drive, it's likely a 5400 RPM model, which may explain the problem.

Sure, I tried to understand your question. The Optiplex 390 case is designed to work well with SSDs, so yes, it should handle them nicely. Just make sure the SSD fits properly and follows the case's specifications. Let me know if you need more details!

Because SSDs don’t actually shift, you can simply place them anywhere.

I understand it should work, but I'm curious about whether there are SATA cables inside the Optiplex 390 enclosure. I saw this on @Himommies' post and I assume you already own a regular motherboard, though it might be a low-quality one.

It might be a SATA power supply, since they come in those long 4-strand cables. However, there are likely no data cables involved—just check that first before buying.
