I own an AMD A10 7860K APU and have heard that increasing the RAM speed can improve frame rates by half. I attempted to overclock the RAM to 2400MHz, which is supported by my Kingston Hyper X 8GB (4×2) RAM. The system boots up normally, but when I launch games or programs, or after about 20 minutes, it freezes, displays some lines with a buzzing sound, and then restarts. My motherboard is Gigabyte GA-F2A68HMD2. Any advice?

These signs point to an unstable system. Consider returning to established stable configurations before making adjustments gradually, and perform stability checks using prime95 and memtest after each modification.

These are signs of an unstable system. I recommend returning to established stable configurations and gradually increasing speed in small increments, while performing stability checks using prime95 and memtest after each adjustment. I am currently stable at 2133mhz, but when I try to overclock to 2400mhz the issue arises, causing the computer to freeze during gaming with a buzzing sound and unusual screen lines.
