It's feasible to conceal the taskbar when a window is opened to the maximum, yet still display it on the desktop. I understand you're not referring to F11 or auto-hide features, but rather wanting the window to appear directly above the taskbar upon maximization. If necessary, registry adjustments or installing custom software could help achieve this if standard settings don't suffice.

Try Taran's Auto-hotkey software/AutoIT. It will automatically press a hidden hotkey when you maximize a window, which then activates TaskBar Hider. lmao. Ha. Got it?

I get the idea you're looking for. It's similar to fullscreen, but in Chrome it hides open tabs, URLs, and the bookmarks bar. You're okay with everything staying visible. I'll definitely check that workaround—thanks for the suggestion!
