I’m taking a break today and think I need some time away from it. Tomorrow I’ll dive into my new space trucking adventure. So far I’ve found four new suns, captured screenshots of all of them, plus two planets and a ton of rough asteroid fields. Still, I’m planning to go straight for the multi-canons unless there’s a better upgrade to try first.
I purchased a multi-cannon, but should I spend the rest of my funds on another one or stick with the starter laser? I felt compelled to play. Also, if you die, do you lose all your weapons?
The optimal method to earn money involves identifying a strong trade path between two ports within the same network. I discovered a network with minimal traffic, where the two ports are only 600km apart—essentially using shortcuts through hyperspace. Since they’re so near, any threats would struggle to intercept you quickly. Right now, I’m generating roughly $1.5 million per hour.
We're using a hauler since the Sidewinder only has four cargo spaces. I made some money from getting a multi-canon too, so I'm not in a desperate situation. I'm proceeding carefully and making thoughtful choices. Still, I keep running into tricky situations with unknown signals and pirates—there are many of them. I managed to come out okay and even earned a bit of extra pay.
