I experimented with a magstripe reader (MSR90) and connected it to my PC. After powering it on, the login screen almost appeared. I swiped my Gamestop Power Rewards card and successfully logged in. I noted the card details are secure—uppercase letters, numbers, symbols, and a 97-digit number followed by the Enter key. I repeated the process after logging out, but it failed again. It seems there might be an overflow issue or some technical glitch. My computer also logged me into a Microsoft account on a Windows 10 desktop running an IBM Systems X3650 with various hardware components. The setup included an AVerMedia Live Gamer HD, Lenovo DVD-RW drive, Corsair K70 keyboard, and UTechSmart Venus MMO Gaming mouse.

Restart your device without swiping the card. Does it authenticate you?

It is not configured for automatic login, and it has never performed that action before. I will restart it and try again.

It functions as a server, requiring roughly five minutes to initialize.
