I just discovered a great offer—MSI X570 MPG Gaming Plus for $140 instead of $175. That’s a solid discount. You were thinking about getting the Tomahawk Max, but this deal only adds $15 to your budget. Which motherboard would you prefer?

the board is really bad and doesn’t justify the price. i’d mention the tomahawk can take a 3900x but it still has issues. assuming you’re using a 6-core setup, it’ll work fine, though it’s not an excellent choice overall. edited august 2, 2020 by TofuHaroto

It's not just because the MSI X570 MPG Gaming Plus is a huge problem. You'll do better with the Tomahawk. A useful hint: sometimes it comes out of the box open for a reason.
