He likely uses a quick method to get Windows running without completing the full setup, possibly relying on pre-installed components or a custom installer.

1. Yes. Setting up windows isn't enjoyable, seeing someone do it might be even worse. It's similar to revealing the complete cable routing process during those installations. Extremely time-consuming, tedious, and dull.
2. He could have just used a drive with Windows 10 already installed. That way, it would be straightforward and plug-and-play.

Windows 10 performs well and comes with standard drivers. It’s unlikely they’d need to install anything new, especially a pre-formatted SSD.

It requires roughly an hour to set up Windows. Installing games usually takes a similar amount of time.

Win10 offers the quickest setup among all versions I've used, and it runs without many issues. Earlier, I needed to upgrade from Win 7 for my HTPC, which took around three hours due to the numerous updates required.

With a clean image, you can revive the setup in under two minutes and launch it on any computer. I discussed this topic since systems packed with many programs and games often need more time to recover. However, there are likely plenty of ready-to-use drives with installed systems. As others noted, it's essentially plug-and-play once you tweak a bit. After a short adjustment period, everything works smoothly. It makes sense that video editing is common—otherwise the output would be dull.
