I download the hppoa from a torrent and faced some running problems at first. Eventually, I run it but after about an hour of gameplay it shows an issue like this: General protection fault! History: FOpenGLTexture::Cache <- FOpenGLRenderInterface::CacheTexture <- FOpenGLRenderInterface::HandleCombinedMaterial <- FOpenGLRenderInterface::SetShaderMaterial <- FOpenGLRenderInterface::SetMaterial <- RenderStaticMesh <- FDynamicActor::Render <- RenderLevel <- FLevelSceneNode::Render <- FPlayerSceneNode::Render <- UGameEngine:Big Grinraw <- UWindowsViewport::Repaint <- UWindowsClient::Tick <- ClientTick <- UGameEngine::Tick <- UpdateWorld <- MainLoop I have Windows 10 and I don’t want to run the game on VM. A previous bug has been fixed in the .ini files. I’d like something similar, please! :-) HELP ME MY GIRLFRIEND WANTS TO PLAY THAT GAME AND SHE’LL BE FRUSTRATED IF I DON’T FIX IT :-) Thank you ahead of time!!!

It's a sudden alert when the program attempts an illegal action. Could be a memory leak or maybe it's just XP running on Windows 10

He obtained the game via a torrent. Not authorized. Thus, I won't discuss it.

Not necessarily. He isn't inquiring about piracy or exploiting the game. He mentioned running it for roughly an hour, and interpreting the message suggests he's seeking guidance on playing an older title on Windows 10. Removing his 'purchasing decision' from the original post could provide useful tips.

I understand you often share updates about hackintosh. But this isn't about getting copyrighted programs or breaking DRM rules. It's about getting a problematic game to work on Windows 10. Just remove a single line and adjust the post title accordingly.
