You're weighing the cost of the valve pack at $18.99 versus $19.99. Since you already own CS:GO and Portal 2, you might not need another one unless you're looking for specific features or updates.

I believe these titles are solid choices, though I’m familiar with them. My preference leans toward the Source Multiplayer Pack, Left 4 Dead 2, and Garry’s Mod. What draws me is that the Source pack includes DoD:S, CS:S, and HL2Big GrinM—assets popular in custom modes like Prop Hunt and Trouble in Terrorist Town. I’d recommend starting with CS:S for its value, but the full pack offers more flexibility. Left 4 Dead 2 captures the essence of the original singleplayer experience, making it worthwhile despite being a paid title. PvP works decently, and Steam Workshop adds endless customization and content. Garry’s Mod is a sandbox with a huge modding scene, letting you tailor the game extensively. I’ve spent over 130 hours in this universe, and friends often surpass my personal totals in RPG modes alone.

Not a good deal, particularly if you already have CS:GO and Portal 2.
