Discord voice functions stop while gaming?
This problem has been difficult to resolve for the past few months. Neither Discord's nor Blizzard's support has provided any assistance. The main problem seems to be that voice stops during World of Warcraft play, even though it works normally when playing. Once a raid starts or I join one, voice communication is interrupted for short periods. I can't hear anyone and my PTT key doesn't produce sound. I initially thought it was a connection issue, but after upgrading my internet speed to 1 gigabit fiber, the problem remains unchanged.
The issue isn't due to old drivers, running as admin, or ensuring everything is connected properly. It doesn't match typical fixes like copy/paste solutions or troubleshooting steps. It only occurs in the desktop version, not in the browser, which makes it hard to play with an open mic. There might be some unnecessary software or settings in my Asus motherboard or GPU drivers causing this. I previously experienced network issues and resolved them by uninstalling RogGameFirstIII.
