Disconnecting USB from a FI32Q KVM setup
No problems detected on my XPS 13, indicating the monitor functions properly with all features on an INTEL platform. ORIGINAL POST: I recently purchased a new monitor and it initially works well. I’m connecting it via KVM to switch between my PC, Steam deck, or laptop—at least that’s my intention. The keyboard, mouse, and headphones are all connected to the screen. After launching my PC and using it for some time like watching YouTube, I lose audio, keyboard, and mouse functionality. It takes a while before I regain control. I’ve heard about issues with B550 boards, but I’m using a B450 instead. Still, could this be a concern? I discovered a workaround where disabling USB can save power, though that wasn’t the solution.
