Could two more supportive individuals verify this? It seems I don’t doubt vinyldash303, though having several alternative perspectives would be beneficial.

You'll need to reinstall your drivers, antivirus, and software during the installation of Windows 7 on your SSD. It's possible to run Windows 7 on both drives, but the activation key can only be used on one machine. Ensure the key functions correctly because you're using the same computer while the Windows might be disabled on the SSD. If activation fails on the SSD, consider phone-based activation (refer to the link from your previous post). For checking system integrity, run an SFC scan at: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/153...ecker.html

Shift the games to the main drive root, such as a fresh folder or each game on its own root. I’m not sure if this works right after installing Windows on an SSD—maybe the games won’t load fast enough before a blue screen appears. Also, don’t worry about losing program files if you deactivate the old Windows; it’s unlikely to happen that way.

For Steam titles, placing the software in the same folder on your storage drive should allow it to recognize and install the games. You might relocate the steamapps directory elsewhere if you worry about overwriting existing files. Certain titles can run as portable apps while others may need a full reinstall. Origin games should be moved to a different spot, then begin downloading; wait for a few MBs, then transfer the folder into the new Origin location and resume download to let it detect and set up the installation. You can still reach program files on an SSD even after Windows deactivates, but if issues arise you can claim ownership on your new operating system via the provided link.
