Details: MOBO ASUS z370-a, CPU Intel I7 5700k. My brother aimed to run Windows 11 on my old rig, thinking the processor supported it. I’m sure it doesn’t. He turned off the CSM in BIOS, but the PC freezes on the ASUS Bios splash screen—delete or F2 doesn’t help. He reset CMOS via the pins, but it failed. Got any suggestions on fixing this? Thanks.

Consider removing your boot drive. You might need to reinstall Windows. Working with CSM, Secure Boot and TPM can cause Windows to perform poorly, even after resetting the settings.
