Adjusting settings to reduce performance or disable Vsync can help stabilize the game. Check in-game options for low-frame rates or performance controls.

It's limited to 62 frames per second, but there are ways to improve performance or adjust settings.

Poop simulator should handle mirrors edge. It might not run smoothly after the first mission following that cut-scene of the dead guy. Don't squander your time.

This hinges on your understanding of "smooth." Certain users dislike Input Lag caused by V-sync.

When the monitor runs at 60Hz, you're in the right spot. Make sure to turn on Vsync using the Control Panel or CCC.

It feels much better with VSync. The small delay feels more natural compared to real life, unless you're constantly checking your surroundings.

I installed Mirrors Edge in 2009 without issues using two Ati Radeon HD 4890 graphics cards and a Phenom II X4 940 processor.

This idea doesn't seem to hold up as a true comparison. Life involves much more than just moving your head.

It's limited to weather vsync being active or not, which caps at the highest frame rate. Concerning the other users' comments on game performance... I'm fine with that.
