I recently installed Deco from Tp-Link and configured it properly. Now both devices are active and broadcasting. I can see the Wi-Fi from the router, but when I connect to its network, there’s no internet access and I can’t adjust its settings to disable its signal. Only the cable connection to the Deco works, while the router remains inactive. I want the Deco to handle all transmission and I need it to be reachable without the router’s network. I’m not sure how to fix this without removing the devices.

The router could have a tangible switch you can activate to turn off WiFi, quite often the case.

Link directly to your router or modem via an ethernet cable, then update your IP address to match the default range provided by your router.

Great news! I located it successfully. Thanks for letting me know—it’s impressive they have physical switches.
