Hey everyone, on my Lenovo Yoga Pro 7 there’s an ongoing adjustment that alters contrast in VLC, the video player, and web content based on facial recognition data. Essentially, when I watch videos or use other apps, the brightness settings shift automatically depending on how bright it is around me. Usually this results in overly dark or overly bright visuals, only resolving to a comfortable level when I cover the webcam sensors. This change impacts the entire VLC interface and playback controls, but seems to affect video and photos more than other elements like desktop backgrounds. I’m unsure what setting in Windows 11 or Lenovo software controls this, as all related options in Windows Settings are disabled. No luck finding a fix in Lenovo Vantage either. Thanks for your help—hope it’s not too hard to resolve!
