the situation has a bit of history. my brother's laptop stopped working recently, leaving him without a device for gaming. he’s currently jobless and can’t afford a new one, so I moved my gaming PC downstairs so he could play if needed. i noticed something odd: whenever either of us uses the computer, the other’s RAM usage spikes and programs like Afterburner start automatically. in the start menu it says both are logged in even though i turned it on and never touched his account. after checking, i saw his login details too. i locked the machine and asked him to unlock it, and he did so without any issues. how can i stop this from happening? i play games that use a lot of RAM, like BeamNG with hundreds of mods, and sometimes my RAM runs out completely. i don’t want to have to turn on the PC, log in, lock it, ask him to sign out, and then jump into my games. i’m using Windows 1909 with the latest updates.
