I downloaded dirt 3 from a third-party site and added it without using Steam. When I tried to start it, it just redirected me to the main Steam page and didn’t do anything.
It seems like a pirated copy of the game, and you haven't cracked it yet. You're being redirected to Steam to purchase it—probably the safer option. Or maybe you were tricked. Either way, I'd suggest buying it through the official store.
It's no longer available on Steam. That's why I obtained it from another source.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00CIBDOF2?tag=isthcom0a-20 Codemasters licensing has run out on Dirt 3 so they cant sell it anymore. Finding keys wont be terribly easily. IMO you are better off with dirt rally through or waiting for dirt 4 (most likely)
