It’s likely just hype. I think it will eventually make a noticeable difference, though probably not a major one. One thing is clear—it won’t change what you’re doing right now on your PC.

People have seen 10-15% fps increases on DX11. Drivers in Windows 10 are as important as DX12. It's an all new operating system with DX12.
