I just assembled a PC for a friend and everything functions properly. Updates are working well. Playing Call of Duty causes crashes with DirectX errors or GPU overclocking issues. Additionally, the M.2 SSD appears to show up during formatting, though saving is possible.

Start by verifying if the GPU is factory reset. Adjust clock speeds slightly using MSI Afterburner; some cards fail at default settings. Ensure you have the newest GPU drivers and run DDU for a clean install if necessary. Install the latest DirectX runtime and game updates. Regarding the M.2 SSD problem: If Windows detects it but blocks formatting, access Disk Management, remove all partitions and create a fresh one. If unsuccessful, use diskpart in CMD with a clean command to erase it completely, then reinitialize as GPT. These steps should resolve both issues without additional hardware. Good luck, and let us know if it stabilizes afterward.
