I just placed an order for a 970 and picked one free game from the selection—Unity, Far Cry 4, or The Crew. Since I'm avoiding Ubisoft, a free title seems tempting. At first I thought Far Cry 4 would be the best pick because it looks engaging, but I’m not sure about The Crew compared to it. The only racing games I’ve enjoyed are the NFS titles where you can play from the police. What do you think about The Crew versus Far Cry 4?

The team seems excellent, with few complaints reported.

Comparing it to Far Cry 4, it seems to offer a larger volume of material and more chances to revisit the game. It also delivers a solid FPS experience.

It seems the media holdout is still quite extended. If you prefer not to own the game or aren't keen on purchasing it, I can help remove it from your list.

I intend to try it. The main issue I notice, no matter the outcome, is... Uplay >.<

I'd suggest going for something far removed from reality, as racing games often lose interest over time—especially after diving into the NFS series.

That is a very good point....and I mean I played them to death. You can only blow through so many police roadblocks at 250mph in a bugatti veyron before it gets old.. And by blowing through, I mean monster trucking it overtop of the SUV's...literally overtop of them

Absolutely, Hands Down is a far cry from Crysis 4.
