VIA USB3.0 Drivers and ASMedia USB3.0 Drivers are both software designed to enable USB 3.0 functionality on devices, but they differ in their origins, compatibility, and intended use. VIA drivers are typically developed by the original hardware manufacturer or trusted third parties, while ASMedia drivers are often provided by AS Media, a company specializing in media playback solutions. The choice between them depends on your device requirements and the software ecosystem you prefer.

Set up the appropriate software for your particular chipset. Obtain the VIA drivers if you use that model, and if you use ASMedia, get the corresponding drivers. These solutions are designed specifically for their intended chipsets.

It makes sense. That could be the reason your USB ports didn’t work after installing the Intel drivers.
