Did your laptop screen just fall out?
Hi so about a month ago my MSI laptop screen just completely broke off my laptop and fell off my desk, it broke free from 2 small wires connecting it to the motherboard while doing so. After that I hooked my laptop up to my TV via HDMI and it worked for 3 mins then turned off. Now when I try to boot the laptop (while connected to any monitor/TV) the boot up light comes on for 2 seconds and goes off. I can't get my laptop to boot up now, how can I get it to boot and then connect to my TV? It's an MSI GE76 Raider gaming laptop. The screen is now a separate piece from it.
The one thing I want to do is take out the battery, unplug the laptop from the outlet, hold down the power button for thirty seconds just to let all electricity go away, and then try turning it back on. Maybe something isn't grounded right now because of wires or pieces sticking around.
