You're setting up a system for your creative projects. You've got a 32GB RAM kit and a gaming motherboard, and you're checking the compatibility with your motherboard manual. The manual mentions support up to 3466MHz, while your RAM is 3600MHz. That means it should work fine, but you might want to confirm the exact specs and ensure your system clock settings match.

The base clock of the memory controller is 3200 MHz, with higher speeds determined by the motherboard. If the chosen RAM matches MSI's compatibility list, it should operate at its rated frequency or the motherboard’s speed based on the BIOS settings. Even if it doesn’t fit, you should still reach the controller’s maximum performance. There’s little advantage in using faster RAM unless you aim for better benchmark results.

I located the compatibility details on the MSI website, which shows a 16G pair with a matching part number—good sign!

I'm all set. I've assembled five Ryzen 3000 units and haven't faced any RAM problems so far. Three of them used RAM not listed in the QVL and still performed at the expected speed. From what I've seen, they're more forgiving than they seem.
