whoever is providing you updates is sharing outdated information. My old HD7870 (?) in cross fire experienced a minor texture issue (one) shimmering in GW2. That’s about it… no more recognized bugs on my system until now. My 3070 has a problem where it doesn’t clock down after playing a game—about that. 7900xt seems bug-free so far. The newest Windows drivers for 7900xt are stable, according to Ancient Gameplays YouTube for release details. My 3070 is now on my Linux box and works fine. Nothing caused major crashes or game crashes to the desktop.
