Hey everyone, I found a crypto mining virus on my PC and after fixing it, I ran several virus tests and updated Windows. However, when I restarted, the monitor lost its signal right away. Safe Mode works fine, but I tried DDU and restarted again, then reinstalled the GPU driver. The moment the driver was installed, the screen stopped working. Could this virus have damaged my GPU? It’s really confusing.

I'm not entirely certain, my GPU had been running at full capacity for several days while I was playing games, so I didn't realize it was that high until I stopped the game and it remained at maximum use. MalwareBytes detected and removed the virus. I attempted the reset windows option from the recovery menu but it didn't help. Would a complete disk wipe followed by a fresh Windows installation be the best course of action?

Check the older driver versions. The video may help with your problems if you have a Nvidia graphics card. Watch it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NTXoUsdS...e=youtu.be
