Hey everyone, it seems BattleLog DICE and EA have made another mistake. If you log in, you'll see the message about a recent unjust PunkBuster ban. They're trying to fix it quickly. Thanks for your patience. The update changed the origin, and now everyone is getting hacked. Keep playing, but don't get upset when you're banned from a server. EA, please.
It's hard to tell which company is worse between EA and Ubisoft once the new games release.
Of course, I understand—steam is the well-known one, while valves are often overlooked.
This situation seems to point away from their side. It appears EA is managing Origin, not DICE, and they might need to inform Evenbalance (Punkbuster) about the recent changes. Some methods are now marked as restricted tools, which could lead to bans. It might take a week for this process, especially since PB has already issued many bans. The forum from the clan was flooded with users who believed they were banned by us, but it turned out to be PB bans. Overall, it looks like a positive move from EA. They should communicate more clearly next time.
