Hey there! Let me share a bit about my setup. Previously, I used the same specs but with a different cooler—10700K and an Aorus Z490 Ultra Gaming motherboard. I had Resizable BAR turned on and everything ran smoothly. Now, after switching to a 12700K and an AORUS Z690 Elite AX DDR4 board, I’m having trouble posting with ReBAR enabled. After resetting CMOS and confirming only that setting changed, the problem persists. I’m wondering if this is the main cause or if there’s another factor at play. Thanks for your help! Also, I just updated to the latest BIOS version F20b for this board.

If the board lacks the newest BIOS, updating it could be a viable option. https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/Z69...rt-dl-bios

I realized I had overlooked mentioning something earlier before sharing this. Thanks for pointing it out—I’m now using the newest BIOS F20b, but appreciate your advice.

It seems the issue stems from not having the "compatibility support module" (CSM) turned off in the BIOS. This also means your disk should be using GPT instead of MBR.

Thanks for another suggestion. CSM is in fact disabled as well and still no dice. I am awaiting approval to get into the GIGABYTE forums to try posing my question there as well. I'll also see if there is a VBIOS update available for my GPU. Maybe it being out of date was fine with my 3 y/o mobo, but not so much with a more modern one with an up to date BIOS itself.
