I updated my post with new details. I removed two RAM sticks whose speeds I didn’t know, suspecting they might be overclocked. This made the system more stable but didn’t solve the issue—now it restarts completely without warning. I joined a Discord call and it restarted, which might be related. I have an i9-10900K, ASUS Z490-G with 32GB RAM (after removing 16 for troubleshooting) and an RTX 2070. My PSU is Corsair RM850x. I’m trying to figure out why the AI overclocking feature isn’t working as expected. It seems like a setting might still be set to the default mode, but I’m not sure which one. Any suggestions?

I understand your concept, but shorting the CMOS pins would likely reset everything to default.

I'll attempt it while it's running, during startup, or when it's powered off.
