I recently set up my first PC and everything worked perfectly until now. Graphics drivers installed easily and games ran smoothly. After switching to Windows 11, issues started with my graphics card. I moved back to Windows 10 to resolve the problem, but it didn’t help. Currently, I’m using an APU on Windows 10, which functions fully until the card is connected. Then I encounter freezes at startup, followed by a black screen and video crash once logged in. I’ve tried DDU multiple times, but it keeps crashing even when downloading drivers. I’m looking for more troubleshooting steps to resolve this.

Check if the card sits on a riser. Consider adjusting the main slot to PCI-E 3.0 in the BIOS settings.

I'm not relying on a riser for my card. I'll give this suggestion another shot!

I kept working on F8A until now. I repeated my troubleshooting steps, and today I ran F8D too. Results stayed the same.

At this point, you're questioning whether PCIE Gen3 is the right choice. [Update] Configured BIOS to Gen3 for better stability. Works with AMD drivers but reaches around 80% before Windows takes control to restart. [Update] Tried the APU auto-installer—card installed smoothly, yet everything breaks once it's active.

Yes, I meant generation 3. It's interesting it might assist, though not fully.

I aim to keep the system running on the APU until I can try it with another card.
