I built this setup in July and it hasn’t been used much. In February there were issues where my browser tabs would crash or the whole machine would shut down. I ran a basic memory check that reported broad hardware problems, so I contacted Corsair with the RAM under their limited warranty and received a replacement. The same happened again, so I switched the frequency to auto, which set it to about 2133 instead of the default 3000 and it resolved. Yesterday I played Space Engineers for a long time and now I only see a white DRAM debug light when trying to power it on. I’ve re-seated the RAM several times, removed the CMOS battery, tried jumping jBat1 but nothing worked. I don’t have a friend to borrow other parts from, and I don’t have extra cash to upgrade my motherboard or RAM specs.

The processor supports speeds as high as 2933mhz. Adjust the frequency accordingly. Enable XMP if available. Ensure the memory voltage is set to 1.350v. Manually configure the memory target speed to 2933 while XMP is active (check for DOCP in BIOS). To confirm, power off the system and reset the CMOS. After posting, retry the settings.

You're seeing the EzDebug light but not any output on the screen. It might be a display issue or a problem with the console connection.

Sure thing! Let me make sure I get it. You're wondering if there might be a problem with the CPU or motherboard. Also, does your friend use the same operating system? Would it help to test your processor on their hardware or vice versa?

Have you attempted to start with one drive at a time?

You're explaining that you're unsure about testing your RAM and are worried about not having the funds to upgrade or get a refund if you end up with a new motherboard.

Are you checking for a specific signal or error message on the motherboard?

Only a few useful "EzDebug" indicators are visible so far.

The board includes a small speaker slot on the front panel header. You can purchase it on eBay for $2.
