Diablo 4 experiencing issues with crashes and unusual visuals appearing on the screen.
Diablo 4 has stopped working several times this evening on my PC. It freezes after a few seconds and restarts itself. I’ve started seeing odd symbols on the desktop and menus, especially when using Discord. My setup includes an Asus TUF RTX 3080 with 12GB RAM, a MSI Z390-I motherboard, and 16GB of 3600MHz RAM. The graphics card is Corsair SF750 Platinum. All updates are current, including the latest BIOS and Nvidia drivers. I haven’t done any overclocking except for XMP settings. Temperatures stay between 50-70°C on the CPU and around 60°C on the GPU inside an A4-h2o mini ITX case while playing. I’m worried the riser cable might be damaged by heat from the GPU. Running 3D Mark without issues seems fine. Since the game crashes and restarts silently, there are no error messages. Could anyone help? Any extra details would be useful for troubleshooting. Thanks!
If it isn't the riser cable (I dislike those items), then the issue is likely overheating VRAM or a defective VRAM.
This game managed to destroy the first RTX3080 it encountered, and those remnants aren’t holding up well. Definitely attempt it again without the riser.
Thank everyone, I'll have to remove everything from the case to check this. I'll try it this weekend.
I replaced the AIO with an air cooler for the CPU. The case is a sandwich style, and I thought the GPU and other parts would get overheated if the radiator didn’t drain heat properly. So far, there have been no crashes, and I’m hoping it stays that way.
