I possess two MSI laptops that aren't linking with your new router. All other gadgets work fine on the new one, and they also connect properly with your old router. Netgear Wifi Router link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07XW27XMR/ref...UTF8&psc=1 My previous router: https://www.newegg.com/p/0XK-001B-00152?...lsrc=aw.ds Laptop MSI CX61 2QC-1654US : https://www.newegg.com/p/N82E16834152777 The second laptop is a slightly older model of the MSI CX61 2QC-1654US. I've updated the drivers and checked Netgear support. They suggested turning off the router's AX feature, but it didn't resolve the issue. Have you considered replacing the cards in the laptops?

The router runs Wi-Fi 6, but your laptops only handle up to 2.4GHz. The best option is to upgrade the laptops because using Wi-Fi 6 at 2.4GHz will not utilize the router's full potential.

The issue likely lies in WPA2/AES enforcement, with older Wi-Fi cards only supporting WPA or WPA2/TKIP—both pose security concerns. Additionally, older laptops used mini PCIe ports for Wi-Fi, and there are no Wi-Fi 6 cards available in that design. The most viable option is WiFi 5, such as the one found at https://amzn.to/2w0S0Zc, but double-check the laptop’s card type before use to ensure compatibility.

You have two choices: either opt for a weaker WPA security or replace the Wi-Fi cards for better protection.

What? WiFi 6 functions on both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands, and using one doesn't eliminate the other. It also supports older standards, though you won’t get all the advantages of WiFi 6 on that frequency. This setup seems to require the mentioned card, but I recommend checking online for similar setups and seeing what others experienced.

However, it seems the system isn't connecting to my network for an unknown reason. I'll look up more information to clarify.

It seems the card likely uses WPA while the router supports WPA2 and WPA3.

Make the upgrade. Don't reduce your protection level. WPA2 has been compromised before.
