Devices shut down upon connecting cords to the motherboard's rear compartment
Over the past six months, plugging something into the back of my motherboard occasionally causes my monitors to shut down and lose signal. The PC stays on, but I can't see anything. Reconnecting doesn't solve the issue. Restarting one monitor works, while the other remains off. The active monitor only runs at 60Hz. When this happens, I have to remove and reinstall drivers to get it to run at 144 or 165Hz. It seems there might be some static involved, though I'm not sure. I've tried clean driver installs, removed my graphics card, and reinstalled drivers, but nothing has fixed the problem.
