Devices activate, yet the computer remains inactive.
Whenever I change the power switch, the devices activate without pressing the computer's power button. When I attempt to start the PC using the power button, it fails. I've tried adjusting the RAM, swapping cables, reinstalling the CPU, removing and reinserting the BIOS battery, and even shorting the front panel on the power switch area. Still, there are no signs of life except the peripherals turning on. My setup includes a Ryzen 5 5600gt processor, a B550 motherboard, Corsair CV550 PSU, a 16GB Kingston Fury SSD (SATA 2.5", 240GB), and a Mancer Hexer computer desk.
I have the photo you mentioned. The connections seem to be set right. I verified this with an IT specialist near my home, who thought it might be the PSU since I haven’t tried another one yet. I’ll attempt it at home and see if I can find others facing similar issues. The weird part is how the peripherals turn on when the PSU power switches on.
