I was operating the machine while spraying a PC duster to remove dust. When I applied liquid to the RAM, it emitted a substance that caused the system to power down immediately, displaying a black screen with a dash. I suspect it attempted to access the BIOS. My motherboard is an Aorus X470 Gaming 5 wifi, paired with a 3900xt chipset. After unplugging it, I swapped in another RAM module and tried different slots, but nothing worked. The CPU indicator remained lit. I removed the CPU block and extracted the chip, finding some debris on the pins without any bending or damage. I attempted to clean by using a razor blade, mimicking pin bending. After reinstalling, it still wouldn’t boot.

Avoid cleaning your PC while it's running. Moisture often lingers in those containers, so spray away from the machine first. It doesn't matter whether the PC or power supply is off; you'll just have to let it dry. This pin could get damaged. It might have melted the memory controller by combining water and dust that conduct electricity. Try a single RAM stick and see if it starts up. You may also consider removing the CMOS battery for 5 minutes while the PSU is off.
