Hello everyone, I assembled a new PC with these specifications. The i9-13900K, Palit RTX 4080, Asrock Z790, DDR5 RAM, and Kingston Fury Beast 16GB all work fine so far. However, when I power it on, it shuts off after just five seconds.

You're looking at a simple cooling solution—just five seconds to see how quickly an uncooled CPU warms up.

Your cooler looks fine, and everything seems to be in order. Your RAM sticks appear to be working properly as well.

Not necessarily. I’d start by testing each RAM stick individually. Insert one into slot A1 and observe the outcome. If it fails, move to slot B1, then A2 and B2 sequentially. This method of elimination helps assess both the RAM and its slots. Once we’ve checked stick one, we’ll test stick two following the same steps. We’re aiming to identify a faulty stick early, as replacing a bad RAM module is usually cheaper than swapping out an entire motherboard. Keep trying all options since multiple sticks could be affected. Good luck!

We've confirmed the cooler and fan operation is working well, especially with the RAM. Regarding the BIOS, the newest release was on December 30, 2022 (just a few days ago). There was also an update from December 12, 2022 that addressed memory compatibility. It's possible the issue lies in the BIOS version.
