Device support exists beyond basic functionality.
Hey, I'm back again. If you saw my earlier message yesterday, you'd understand I've been tinkering with my Bluetooth gear and need some assistance. I'm putting together a fresh update since I just hit upon a completely new issue. Let's set that aside for now. Main focus: Laptop model X450CC. Before this all started, my laptop shut down unexpectedly because it lacked a battery and the charging port was damaged. I assumed it would be okay. Bluetooth peripheral devices don't have drivers and are listed under "Other Devices." One of the components I touched was trying to delete the Bluetooth server in the Bluetooth Auxiliary section, then restarting in hope it would resolve the issue. That didn't work. I removed it because there was a yellow exclamation mark next to it, indicating a driver warning. I followed my prior steps—deleting, restarting, letting Windows handle it—but nothing changed. Now I'm pretty sure that deleted server is actually the current Bluetooth peripheral device. When I searched online using its hardware ID (BTHENUM{...}), it returned information about a Bluetooth server, confirming the problem. Issues I'm facing with Bluetooth devices: I can't connect anything to my laptop even though Bluetooth is enabled. It's not because my own devices aren't paired. Previously, it worked for some devices, but now it doesn't. Another concern: My earphones (Edifier X3-To-U) no longer display their name in the Playback panel of the Sound window. They just show "Bluetooth Audio Devices," and I can't use any features. The connections keep dropping unexpectedly. That's essentially what I've noticed so far. If you have more details, I'll add them here. Add On: 1. Bluetooth audio driver missing. Updated August 11, 2021 by General K3nobi.
Seems like this might be a challenging situation. Alright, let's skip the Bluetooth and move forward.
