This situation sounds unusual. While moving the glass on my PC broke, I disassembled it to recover all shards. After reassembly, everything appears intact—BIOS loads correctly, RAM, drives, and motherboard lights are fine. Speeds seem normal, so I reset everything to defaults just in case. The main problem now is that after the boot screen, the system freezes, fans slow down, it stops sending a video signal, and remains stuck until power is cut. Safe mode isn’t working either. I tried installing Windows from a USB drive, which worked. I couldn’t repair it because it didn’t recognize anything, so I deleted a rarely used partition and let the install create new partitions. It ran smoothly for a while until network setup failed, then went dark again. After a second try, it accepted all service offers (Game Pass, Office 365, One Drive, etc.) and finally crashed once more. My suspicion is the motherboard suffered damage. I’m running low on ideas—could you suggest ways to avoid buying new parts? If needed, I have an i5-7600k, ASUS Strix Z270G, gaming EVGA 2060, 4GB RAM, MX300 240GB, Samsung 830 EVGA 650W.
