Hey there! After using my laptop for a while, I decided to replace its battery. Since I couldn’t buy an original part, I found one with a bit more capacity—perfect! But then things started going wrong... I installed the new battery and noticed it failed right away. Within about ten minutes it crashed completely, not just showing a BSOD but shutting down instantly. I assumed the battery was bad and got another one, but the issue persisted. I checked if it was running on battery power versus AC power, and it happened regardless of the charge level. Looking at the battery report, it mentioned the laptop entered "suspended mode" but restarted as if it had been closed. I thought about updating drivers or BIOS, which turned up new ones—still no help. I tried opening the Event Viewer to see if errors appeared, and there were definitely critical errors logged. I’ve attached some pictures of those errors. The problem doesn’t seem to be with a worn-out battery at all—please, I’d try anything to fix it!

Are you referring to fully emptying the batteries? I attempted a full discharge, but it didn’t resolve the issue.

I haven't found a solution yet. You're experiencing the same problem again after updating your battery on Windows 11.
