Hey, your Lenovo Legion 5 15ARH05 seemed normal when it was on, running school tasks without any issues. After putting it to sleep a few hours ago and waking it up now, it just powers off completely, showing the power indicator and button but no display. This happened about a year and a half ago when you had to reset it, which took a long time. At the time, you thought it was due to thermal throttling, but since your room is at room temperature, that doesn’t seem likely. Could you tell me more about what’s happening and what you’d like to do about it? Here are the specs you provided: CPU – Ryzen 5 4600H, GPU – NVIDIA 1650Ti, RAM – Crucial 32GB 3200MHz, Storage – 1TB HDD plus a 500GB SSD (two units, unsure which), and I’ll help you figure it out.
For storage setup, I’d choose a 1TB HDD with WD and a 500GB SSD from Samsung. Also, does your system let you take out the battery without opening it? That would be a plus.
Reconnect the cable and test functionality. It seems like a simple restart or power reset.
Performing a genuine power-off process. I only need 15-20 minutes for a "safe check" pause. Sadly, unless told otherwise, Windows 10 and Windows 11 don’t fully power down. Check the troubleshooting steps Lenovo offers for their Legion laptops. There are also many USB bootable drives available for testing, but each step should be taken one at a time.
I understood what was being discussed. Right now everything is working, nothing is connected. I plan to start using it as usual, and if the issue continues I’ll reset it. Sadly, I really wished this wouldn happen again. Appreciate your assistance. I’ll update the thread soon.
