I used Linux for several months since it was necessary for class. A virtual machine wouldn't support the tasks we needed. After reinstalling Windows, I faced significant problems with the device. My laptop functions fine—just turn it on after being off and use it normally. But when I try to interact with the mousepad or space bar after sleep, it freezes for 5-15 seconds before blue-screening and restarting. Another problem is that the GPU kicks up too quickly, exceeding the laptop's power supply limits and causing shutdowns every time I launch a game, except Minecraft. I thought about updating drivers, but even the latest versions from ASUS and AMD didn't fix it. I tried going back to an older version, but AMD Adrenaline still doesn't install properly—though my system shows it's installed in Windows settings. In short: after reinstalling Windows, the machine crashes during gaming or heavy graphics work within about a minute. It restarts cleanly when waking from sleep, but not when powered off completely. Note: The system doesn’t seem to detect the GPU correctly and offers an eject option even though it can’t be removed. I’m unsure why it’s flagged as a USB device despite not being removable.
