I just received an Acer Nitro 5 laptop, but when I attempt to link it to my home Wi-Fi router (TP-link TLWR-840N), the router turns off and blocks all other devices from the network. What might be happening? Are there any fixes I should try? Other laptops are working fine, and my mobile hotspot is also connecting properly, so both of those seem normal.

It seems your router isn’t performing well. Look for a firmware update, but if none exists, consider replacing it. Switching to OpenWRT might be an option, though it’s more suited for experienced users.
